Hmmm...

One of our Cardiff shop boys got in touch recently raving about this video.

Ukrainian ' talent' show with some random cyclist in the background?

It is in fact a good example of why we usually ignore the Cardiff boys when they call us raving about videos. Anyway, turn up (or down) the volume and enjoy the insanity.

Dirt jumping at Bikeradar live

Didn't go to the Bikeradar Live event at Donington recently?

That's too bad. You missed great weather and more bikes than you could shake a stick (or a remote seatpost) at.

Luckily our man on the ground Chris took a camera with him. He got a nice view and some very cool footage of the Dirt Jump finals...

Next level trials

You won't find many outside sourced videos on this blog. It doesn't really provide much of an insight into Tredz for a start and frankly just equates to laziness most of the time. But, sod it we can't help ourselves with this one. It'd be a crime not to post it.

This clip of  Danny MacAskill is seriously out of this world...

Remote seat post

Whats good for climbing isn't so hot for the way down, which is why it's a pain having to get off at the top of a climb to adjust your seat.

It's an even bigger pain if you forget. Your nether regions won't forgive you a too high saddle position on a descent...

Which is why this little gadget (to be found in this instance on a Commencal Meta 6.2, the remote seatpost is also available as a piece of after market bling) is so cool. Remote seat posts. They're the future!

The Atherton family

We were just ordering from one of our favourite suppliers (hey, these guys supply Cove and Race Face) Silverfish. In conjunction with e.Thirteen they had the latest instalment of a video diary following the Athertons in their quest for world domination, so we thought we'd share the wealth...

Test your awareness

TfL's new awareness test is easily as good as their moonwalking bear. Didn't notice a thing!

Transport for London ad

Another cool video from TfL promoting cycling safety.

I didn't see it!

Autopilot Bike

When I fall off my bike it invariably lands on me. This guy's wants to win the race for him...

Cycling TV

Cyclingtv_2

Like to watch road cycling events?  Cycling TV offers live streaming of over 100 race days with on-demand re-runs available within 10 minutes of the race ending. The live events are available via Broadband TV.  Alternatively, for those of us with less viewing time, there's a choice of full or abridged highlights.

Many events can be viewed free but the quality is not as good as with  the paid-for versions.

The site is relatively new and still seems to suffer from a few bugs - but when it works there's an awful lot of viewing to choose from. As a bonus, you get to see a lot of Belgium at the same time!

You may want to check out the full race information and the 'Inner Tube' community section with members' video uploads.

Classic Lance

Idly surfing bike sites last night I stumbled on this classic Lance Armstrong Nike video. It's well worth skiving for 90 seconds to watch the great man ride with a special effects crew. [Shame Nike look like they’re binning cycling from their sports folio from 2008, gutted.]
