Profile:
I’ve been swimming hard since the age of 10 in my first gala. From there it’s been club, county and finally country in 1994. My 18 years of racing competitively in the pool have seen me breaking world records, winning world championships and three Olympic gold medals.
Been there, done that. I needed to move on and cycling has provided me that chance. British and world records, along with gold medals are coming through after less than a year in the sport and I don't intend stopping there - I'll rest after Beijing.

Personal Sporting Goals:
I intend winning a gold medal in a second sport at the Paralympics (my 4th).
